Cyber Security Consultant GBP50,000–80,000 DOE Gloucestershire/ Hybrid (1–2 Days on–site per week)
Our client is a leading organisation operating across all sectors, including the public defence sector which is their main area of focus. They specialise in taking ownership of the entire process and develop long term trusted relations. As a part of their growth strategy, they're looking for Cyber Security Consultants to join the team of leading consultants.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for managing information risk for their clients. You will work directly with the clients to ensure the delivery of security services. You will be comfortable working and advising at all levels.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• A clear understanding of Information Security and Risk Management inclusive of frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, IS1&2, JSP440
• Understanding of and/or experience of working with security audit techniques
• Experience with HMG frameworks and workstreamsi.e RMADS
• Have proven leadership experience and the ability to engage and communicate easily and confidently with people at all levels
• Understand and interpret security information quickly; provide advice and guidance on requirements to stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
• CISSP or CISM
• CISMP
• CISM
• CRISC certification
• CCPSIRA.
Candidates must be:
• Ideally have an SC clearance – if not, willing to undergo government security clearance process
• Eligible to work in the UK and have the appropriate right to work documents
