Cyber Security Engineer

A fantastic and highly unique opportunity has become available for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at head office based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a passion for Cyber Security, To implement solutions and initiatives to reduce risk within a business that has over 80 sites nationwide and employs over 5500 people. Responsibilities:
Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure IT environment.
Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Cyber Security roles.
Proficiency in security tools and technologies.
Strong understanding of networking and system vulnerabilities.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
