Cyber Security Engineer/Architect

One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer/Architect. This is a temporary contract for 5 months with possible further extension based on budget and performance.

Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary

This role will play a vital part in defining identifying and specifying security countermeasure, driving suppliers to deliver the required systems and change, managing projects and ensuring that vulnerability management is driven forward to provide the best levels of Cyber Security to support the best outcomes for Lincolnshire citizens and the Council.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The post holder will work with the Head of Cyber Security and other security and engineering colleagues both in house and through the client’s 3rd party provider, to identify, specify, plan and deliver a series of projects and initiatives to improve Cyber Security.
• Projects may include security improvements in M365, Azure, networks and firewalls.
