Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 (up to £44,000.00 if London-based) so dependent on your location, skills, knowledge and experience
Location: London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool or Manchester - we have a hybrid way of working and your time will be split between home and one of these Centres so you must be within a commutable distance

We believe security is as much about people as technology, and therefore, as security underpins everything we do, we intend to grow our Cyber Security team. We are looking for a Cyber Security Support Analyst with the following essential knowledge, experience and skills:
- Good, demonstrable knowledge of application security and web security
- Strong knowledge of all protocols across the TCP/IP stack backed up by experience
- Sound knowledge of data security, including knowledge of GDPR, the application of the legislation within Technology and how this impacts the Cyber Security
- Strong communications skills
- Security incident management experience
Your skills, knowledge and experience will enable you to be the second-line support contact for our managed SOC to handle incidents they cannot handle on our behalf, working with our infrastructure and workplace teams in doing so and with the Head of Cyber Security to prevent re-occurrence. You will work with the Head of Cyber Security to coordinate the Trust’s annual pen testing and Cyber Essentials certification.
Along with this, you will need to explain security concerns to the wider Technology area and everyday end users clearly, to raise awareness. You will need to be able to adjust your approach to suit the different audiences.
