As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for a new Cyber Security Team Lead to join our Digital & Technology team!

The Role

As the Cyber Security Team Lead, you’ll support the Head of Information Security (IS) in addressing the tactical and strategic set up of HEINEKEN UK (HUK). You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day Cyber Security operations across HUK.

You have direct line management of 2 Cyber Security Specialists who will help support with vulnerability management, security awareness, cyber risk management and incident response activities.

We’re on a journey to bring our colleagues onboard and understand the importance of Cyber Security. We’ve done a wonderful job so far and would like the Team Lead to continue to promote this internally.

So, what will you be doing? Here are some key accountabilities;

  • Support Head of IS to work with broader D&T function to ensure that we deliver secure solutions and services.
  • Provide support and guidance, resource planning and task allocation to Cyber Security Team members.
  • Support the delivery of a HUK Awareness programme, ensuring that information security awareness education and training is provided to all colleagues.
  • Oversee the annual activities and planning of the Information Security audit cycle.

The Candidate

We’re looking for someone with experience working in an IT Security role and working with senior stakeholders in a previous role. Communication is key, this role will often need to explain complex matters in understandable language, providing key insights to leaders in both our tech space but also our commercial teams.

As this role has line management responsibilities, we’d ideally like someone with people management experience, however this isn’t essential and is a skill that can be developed for the right person.

 If you have;

  • 3 years’ experience in an IT Security role.
  • Knowledge of industry standard and governance frameworks, including NIST and PCI-DSS would be preferred.
  • Experience presenting technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • A strong understanding of trends, processes and technologies used in Cyber Security.

Then this could be the role for you!
