Cyberops Specialist

Contract - CyberOps Specialist - Hybrid/Cheshire - Inside IR35 - 6 months initial

We are supporting our well-known IT customer to look forCyberOps Specialistto support the CTI Director embed a new Threat Intelligence Platform into the bank as part of one of our projects.

• Role: CyberOps Specialist
• Location: Hybrid/Cheshire (2 days onsite a week)
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months

• Must have worked on a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
• Must have worked in a Cyber Threat Intelligence team
• Experience of building processes and writing playbooks.
• Strong in Banking/Financial Services background, enterprise environment
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Strong critical thinking, research and analysis skills and investigative mindset.
• Demonstrate continued awareness across the latest threat intelligence industry trend, threat landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate laterally and vertically.
• In-depth knowledge of drivers of cyber operations, cybersecurity terminology, methodologies including the MITRE framework and cyber threat intelligence frameworks.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

• Subject matter expertise and proven ability to improve processes and guide junior staff.
• Security qualification and / or proven track record in cyber threat intelligence or related role.

o GCTI, SANS or equivalent

o Sec+ or equivalent
