Cybersecurity Analyst and Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Support the development and submission of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages. Perform responsibilities in each of the six steps of the RMF process. Implement security controls and hardening on various operating systems in accordance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs). Coordinate and interface with system administrators and network engineers to ensure that systems and networks are configured to meet DoD requirements for cybersecurity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Navy Information Assurance or cybersecurity

  • 1+ years of experience with RMF implementation

  • Experience providing subject matter expertise in a cyber domain, including vulnerability assessment and scanning tools, and assessing system compliance with security controls

  • Knowledge of DoD STIGs or SRGs, and Navy cybersecurity policies and requirements

  • Ability to work independently to develop RMF A&A documentation and artifacts to obtain RMF Authority to Operate

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT

  • DoD IAT Level I or II Certification and IAM Level I or II Certification

  • CompTIA Security+, CASP or CISSP, eMASS or ACAS, Navy Qualified Validator I, or RMF Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience using eMASS to populate required artifacts to support an authorization decision

  • Experience as a System or Network Administrator

  • Experience with ACAS scan configuration and execution

  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
