Are you a mature ,detail oriented, experienced and proactive nanny with lots of Baby experience? My lovely young family who are based in Maida Vale need your help to look after their gorgeous baby girl.
They have had a wonderful Maternity nurse who highly recommends the family and they are looking for someone to carry on with the current routine.
We are looking for someone who can really engage with the little one and ensure that she grows up in a caring, playful and compassionate environment and help her hit all her developmental milestones.
Mum runs her own business and will be around but this is a sole charge role. Mum and Dad are hands on parents and communication is key for them . We need someone reliable and with a warm friendly can do and adventurous way about them!.
General Duties:
- Sole charge of the baby
- Implementation of the routine as agreed with parents (Put in place by the maternity nurse and recorded and monitored by app.)
- Structured & spontaneous play activities to encourage growth and development.
- Preparation of milk feeds / bottles & all baby meals as weaning is introduced.
- Arranging/attending groups and play dates.
- Carrying out bath time in the evenings.
- Some housekeeping – baby laundry, emptying dishwasher, shopping, keeping everything neat and tidy etc
- Babysitting on evenings and weekends and proxy parenting on occasion as mutually agreed with parents (paid in addition).
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of developmental milestones & weaning. (An Early Childhood Development background or Montessori / Norland training is preferred)
- Driver would be a bonus
- Kind, warm and uses own initiative
- Essential you have recent baby experience and experience with the 6 months – 2 year age group
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
