The Role
Due to continuous success here at Fortem, we are currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould Operative to join our Lambeth contract in London. This is a great permanent opportunity to join a highly successful and expanding business and work within the Damp and Mould Specialist team of 5. The Project
The role involves specifically focusing on Damp & Mould build-up within the properties and ensuring they are cleaned, treated correctly and preventative measures are in place to limit re-occurrences. Followed by general painting you will work to a high standard with the minimum of supervision You will take ownership of work whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential Criteria At least 1 year+ experience working with mould and damp with good understanding of preventative measures and ability to re paint and carry out appropriate repairs. Clean Driving Licence (max of 6 points) Desirable but not essential C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Painting & Decorating or NVQ L2 in Painting & Decorating CSCS H&S Operative Test Certificate + CSCS Blue Card Previous experience in social housing
