We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in West Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Dance Teacher to start in May. This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year. To be successful, you will be a Dance Teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative Dance lessons to students in Key Stages 3 with some occasional Year 10 classes
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or related field
- Recent experience teaching Dance at secondary school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
