Job description

Deben Health Group PCN are looking for a skilled Data Administrator to join our central administration team in Woodbridge, on a part time basis for 20 hours per week.

You will:

  • maintain a thorough knowledge of all practice policies and procedures and working in accordance of written protocols.
  • participate in an annual individual performance review, including taking responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and/or professional development.
  • take responsibility for own development, learning, and performance and demonstrating skills and activities to others.
  • ensure that all mandatory training is completed on time and kept up to date.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
 
  • sorting out patient records and letters in preparation for summarising.
  • reading coding of the post and any other information received in to the practice clinical system.
  • auditing data collection standards in the practice.
  • filing and retrieving paperwork
  • assisting the team with respect to reading coding and QOF.
  • ensuring all tasks and notifications received via SystmOne are appropriately completed.
  • ensuring that emails on NHS. net are regularly read and processed as required.
  • any other tasks or duties as advised by the team leader/PCN manager.
  • attending regular team and staff meetings as required.
  • ensuring building security — have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm.

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience of MS Office software and with data processing skills, ideally with experience of SystmOne clinical system.
  • Excellent communicators who work in a confidential and discreet manner and are able to think on their feet in a busy working environment.
  • Excellent keyboard skills.
  • Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain high level of attention to detail when under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently. 
  • Flexibility of working hours with ability to travel between sites.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional/alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
