Leading UK Retailer are looking for an experienced Data Analyst (MI Analyst) who will be working in a hybrid environment based in Bristol and our client is working in the Automotive sector. Main role is to focus on Customer & Operational Management Information to provide accurate, reliable and timely management information (MI) and Insight via in-depth analysis across Customer and 3rd Party Relationships.

The Data Analyst plays a key role within the team, working with internal and third-party stakeholder / Business Partners to identify customer and behavioural trends and understand the drivers for customer interactions.
These insights are used to improve customer, partnership and employee experience, maximise commercial return, and help optimise processes and operational delivery.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing robust, creative reporting, developing key analytical insights and promoting automation of regular tasks where possible.
- Collaborate with key business functions to understand reporting needs and provide engaging self service solutions through Dashboard / Visualisation tools - experience of Oracle Analytics or similar tools is highly desirable (e.g Tableau / Power BI Qlik).
- Utilise strong Excel / VBA skills to work with a variety of Data sets to provide dedicated analysis to internal stakeholders and external Business Partner.
- You will consistently monitor performance and proactively search for opportunities for improvement.
- Run a variety of regular Business as usual reporting.
- Deliver analysis to drive operational improvements to customer experience and business processes
- Provide on-going analysis and visualisations for key stakeholders.
- Manage priority lists and working to deadlines.
Profile
Key skills of a successful Data Analyst:
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools such as Oracle Analytics / OBIEE (desirable) or similar tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Qlik and developed interactive Dashboards
- Broad MI skillset including VBA, Macros etc, experience using SQL / Python to drive insight and reporting outcomes is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative
- Experience providing self service solutions
- Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence in dealing with all levels of staff and external partners
- Ability to make recommendations and take decisions
- Ability to work unsupervised and to manage a varied workload efficiently and pro-actively
- Be highly customer focused with ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Job Offer
- Bonus: 10-15% (min 4k max 6k for this banding). For the next grade up this increases to 15-22%
- Pension: 15% non-contributary ( 6k per year into pension savings tax & NI free)
