About the RoleHeath Electrical Services is seeking a Data Analyst to support our growing company. As we continue to expand our data capabilities, we are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in extracting, analysing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making.
As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive operational efficiency and improve performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Responsibilities and DutiesCollect and consolidate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data collection and processing tasks. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.Apply statistical methods and data mining techniques to uncover insights and make predictions. Translate business questions into analytical queries and hypotheses to be tested.Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance.Identify areas for improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights.Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and measure their impact. Essential SkillsProven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the UK.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.Solid understanding of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with data governance principles and practices is a plus.Thank you for considering Heath Electrical Services as your employer of choice.
