Based in Co Monaghan, our client is a well established business currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the team.
The successful Data Analyst will play a key role in analysing productivity data, identifying performance gaps, and creating reports for the Senior Management Team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse productivity data, such as project completion rates and resource utilisation, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to the Operations Manager and Senior Management Team.
- Assist and support Scheduling Department to ensure all engineer schedules are optimised and efficient.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights from various sources within the organisation. Generate clear reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monthly and Quarterly Performance review support.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements based on data analysis.
- Liaise with project managers and field teams to gather feedback on data collection processes and reporting requirements.
Criteria:
- Third level qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related with previous experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders of all levels.
- Eye for detail with high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with database querying languages (e.g., SQL)
- Experience in a preferably in a construction / engineering or similar environment
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and in the region of €30k + benefits including pension.
