Calling all aspiring Data Analysts! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a leading brand in the Video Game, Movie and Sports merchandise industry to hire their next Level 4 Data Analyst Apprentice!

The client is now a leading player in designing, manufacturing, and distributing unique and innovate products enjoyed by consumers all around the world. They partner with amazing brands such as Warner Bros, Xbox, PlayStation, Universal, Capcom, SEGA, Pepsi and more.

They're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on developing reports in Power BI and Excel using Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Microsoft Fabric framework, including Power Automate. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, predictive analytics, and data visualisation, contributing to their data-driven decision-making processes.

In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Data Extraction and Cleansing:Perform data cleansing by removing duplicates, correcting formatting, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns using techniques such as time series analysis, predictive analysis, data mining, and modeling. Use Power Query language and DAX for data manipulation and deeper analysis
  • Data Visualisation and Reporting: Develop and maintain performance dashboards, infographics, reports, tables, graphs, and charts in Power BI and Excel. Integrate data from Dynamics 365 Business Central using the Microsoft Fabric framework to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Automation and Efficiency: Implement Power Automate workflows to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in data handling and reporting
  • Recommendations and Decision-Making: Analyse data to draw conclusions and make informed recommendations to key stakeholders, present findings through presentations, emails, and management meetings
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including internal and external audiences, to establish reporting needs

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • Salary - £18,000 - £25,000 (DOE)

  • Experience and qualifications within data analysis
  • Effective communication skills for presenting data insights
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE
