DATA AND ASSURANCE OFFICER – SCALE 6/SO1 (2 Vacancies)

South Wales Police are currently recruiting for Data and Assurance Officers (2 Temporary Vacancies) in the National Data Management Centre.

These roles will conduct second line assurance of NDMC services within a pre-defined framework. These roles will report findings to Business Assurance and Process Managers and Shift Manager for actioning. These role will carry out data mining to aid performance reporting and in-depth research of areas highlighted by Business Assurance leads. These roles will contribute towards national reporting, training material and processes that will be rolled out through the department, and act as a point of contact for researching issues highlighted by Intelligence Capability leads through the Counter Terrorism network. These roles will assist in mentoring and areas of expertise where required.

These posts are not suitable for part time but job share would be considered.

It is essential that candidates are prepared to successfully complete the enhanced security clearance and developed vetting process. The post holders will also require the successful completion of an additional security induction process, part of which requires pre-screening checks of nationality and foreign connections.

It must be stressed that in addition to developed vetting and force management vetting, candidates must achieve both clearances to take up this post.

This role is suitable for part time/job share workers

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
