Data Analyst – Glasgow/Hybrid - 12m FTC

Are you looking to secure a new role dealing with large data sets and creating in-depth reports around these? Would you like to work for a leading, global financial services organisation.

This role would be perfect for someone from a data analytics background who is comfortable dealing with and conveying large data sets.

What will the day-to-day look like?

• Collating, analysing, and presenting data in order to streamline
• Assisting in operational aims
• Ensuring compliance with the broader Operations Demand Management Process in a Kanban and Agile complaint process
• Working across various teams linking in with stakeholders
• Close analysis of data sources and creating reports off the back of this in order to create actionable insights

What skills are needed?

• A background in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics or a similar quantitative field
• Previous experience in a MI/reporting delivery role will be preferable
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to organise workloads and work on multiple tasks, prioritising duties
• Knowledge and use of statistical packages or programming languages for analysing datasets (R, Python Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc) preferred
