Being an Data Architect at Box UK
As a Data Architect you will work on exciting projects within our portfolio, interpreting and bringing to life the defined solution architecture.
In this role you will…
- Assist in designing and implementing cloud-native data lakes, data pipelines, and data visualisation solutions on GCP and eventually AWS.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of MySQL database migration to cloud-based data solutions.
- Participate in the development of event streaming systems for user behavioural analytics and system-level events.
- Collaborate with senior solution architects to ensure adherence to data management frameworks and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and best practices in solution and Data Architecture.

You will also need…
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Architecture, data engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with GCP, including serverless technologies, AWS is a plus.
- Experience in building data pipelines using SQL and related technologies. Knowledge of tools such as Talend and Stitch is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and experience with database systems such as MySQL.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake is a plus.
- Experience with event streaming technologies and user behaviour analytics is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
