Data Architect

We are recruiting for a Data Architect that will support the Data Architecture across a large public sector organisation, leading on reviewing the current landscape and identifying opportunities to improve their capabilities. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, flexible remote/hybrid opportunity.

The CompanyYou'll be joining a leading public sector organisation with a strong social purpose, to support in enabling them to become a data-enabled organisation, using data to underpin policies, decisions, and actions in the effort to improve services and outcomes for residents, and businesses. This role falls into the new data team whereby they are looking to deliver the organisations Data strategy.

The RoleAs the Data Architect, you will be working closely with the technical leads, Head of Architecture, enterprise architects and project managers to lead on the expertise of the organisations Data Architecture and provide roadmaps aligning with the solutions and overall Data Strategy.You will contribute and support the development and delivery of the organisations data and analytics ecosystem and remain hands-on to lead and deliver required actions working independently.Day-to-day responsibilities include building a picture of the organisations current data landscape, leading and facilitating workshops, speaking with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation, as well as 3rd parties providing services to source the information needed. Good communicator with the ambition to challenge themselves in an exciting environment.
