SalaryODIN Recruitment are currently looking for Data Cabling Engineers for a Project coming up in the Peterborough Area.
The role will be to install and terminate a variety of copper cables. This will include both first and 2nd fix of Cat6a cabling.
Engineers will need to have experience in all areas of the trade including Cat5e, Cat6a, Cat7, Voice and fibre optics. Testing using Fluke DTX-1800 & DSX-5000, High Level cabling, under floor cabling. Trunking and containment.
All Engineers must be reliable and flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Execute full voice and data installations, including 1st and 2nd fixing cabling across a variety of sites.
- Work collaboratively across both established and new sites.
- Install containment systems and fibre cables, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Complete and maintain company and client paperwork with accuracy.
- Perform installation and termination of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.
- Conduct faultfinding and report on cabling issues and various communication systems.
Requirements
- ECS / CSCS
- Experienced in Cat6 Cabling Installs
- Able to provide recent references
- CIS & LTD payment is accepted
- Day Rate will be based on Experience.
