Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily walk round of site to confirm healthy status of all plant and equipment.
- Complete PPM of all electrical and mechanical systems to adhere to set engineering standards. All in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act requirement with SFG20 guidance where applicable using site specific CAFM system to close out.
- Undertake site inductions, ensure LOA or PTW is in place and RAMS of all visitors and sub- contractors, prior to any works taking place
- Undertake site escort duties where applicable to all site visitors.
- Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
- Respond to reactive installation works.
- Respond to Emergency breakdowns and remedial works as required.
- Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments
- Carry out weekly testing of all Safety Systems as directed. (Various testing out of hours as required)
- Carry out plant room inspections and cleaning as per site schedule.
- Assist with the monitoring of BMS Trend alarms for EMEA and APAC when BMS Operative unavailable.
- Monitor energy consumption, record readings where applicable, be proactive in energy saving.
- Adhere to all site safety and security procedures
- Carry out checks and inspections of electrical/mechanical services, plant and systems.
- Carry out GVP weekly load readings taken and down loaded onto the Client drive
- Update the Client SDSK prior to any works taking place.
- Proactively seek opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement to site, plant and equipment standards.
- Provide appropriate holiday cover to the team to assist each engineer to take their full annual allowance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Education M&E background essential with C&G or equivalent qualifications. Apprenticeship preferred.
- Training Knowledge and experience with HV, Water treatment, WAH, PTW, Risk assessment, LOTO, preferable.
