Data Collection Officer

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with Liverpool City Council to recruit an experienced Data Collection Officer on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This role is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a key funding source to support the UK government’s levelling up agenda, replacing the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF), and is aimed at boosting regeneration, employment and skills.

Key Duties:

• Collecting, collating and presenting data from customers and residents that have benefited from the UK SPF Town Centres Business Support funding
• Providing administrative support to other Delivery Leads within LCC UK SPF Programme
• Contacting customers and residents who have benefitted from the Town Centres Business Support funding, circa 120 businesses or individuals so far, and set up individual sessions for collection of required data set
• Completing individual telephone-based questionnaires for each impacted person/business and collect required data set
• Asking open questions to establish opportunities for improvements and document this qualitative feedback
• Use of Excel to create, update and maintain data set in one document for all persons/businesses identified

Requirements:

• Experience in the use of all aspects of IT including Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and presentations
• Experience in front line customer contact, telephone interviews, questioning techniques and following a set script
• Experience of building and maintaining data sets, documenting qualitative feedback and presenting outputs
• Ability to work effectively to timescales and to meet deadlines
