We are currently looking for a hardworking individual to join the Merchandising department as a Data Entry Administrator for our well-established client based in Scarborough.
In this role your main responsibilities will be processing all incoming stock, working with garments samples to create accurate product descriptions for our clients website.
This is an entry level role which will provide you with the opportunities to gain knowledge and skills needed to build a career in Merchandising.
Main Duties:
· Entering all stock onto the system in an accurate manner. Providing an in depth description of all products entered.
· Confidently liaise with Goods Incoming to resolve any delivery queries or discrepancies.
· Provide administration support to the wider team, including taking an active role in the organisation of all supplier paperwork.
· Monitoring system deliveries, investigating discrepancies and outstanding stock.
Essential skills:
· An excellent understanding of the English language with strong descriptive writing skills.
· Strong administrative skills and understanding of Microsoft Excel.
· Highly organised with great problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and team working skills.
· A keen eye for detail.
· Minimum grade C (or equivalent) in both English and Maths at GCSE.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills are desirable, but training will be provided where necessary.
