Data Entry Clerk Hays is working with an educational organisation in Bath. The organisation are looking for a Data Entry Clerk on a temporary basis for around 2 months.
Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities:
Data Input: The primary duty is to input data from existing files into the Health and Safety database (iProtectU). This involves transferring information accurately and efficiently.Database Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the database, ensuring data integrity and completeness.Tagging and Cataloguing: Properly tag and categorise data for easy reference and retrieval.Digitisation: Convert physical records into digital format.Reporting: Generate periodic reports based on the stored information.Qualifications and Skills:
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial. The candidate should have an eye for detail to prevent errors.Proficiency: While speed matters, proficiency is equally important. A balance between speed and accuracy is ideal.Curiosity and Communication: A bright candidate who isn't afraid to ask questions when needed. Clear communication ensures data accuracy.Experience with iProtectU (Desirable): Familiarity with the specific database is advantageous but not mandatory. Training will be provided.Driving (Preferable): Since the role is based at Newton Park, having a car is preferable due to unpredictable bus schedules.Salary: The position falls under a Grade 3 role, with an hourly rate of £12.72.Working Hours: The standard work week is 37 hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a half-hour lunch break) Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays.
