Harnham is hiring a Data Governance Manager for a retail company based in London. The role is the first Data Governance person in the organisation so the right candidate will be working in a completely Greenfield environment.

THE COMPANY:

This role is for a retail company that has a large and impactful Data team. The Head of Data recently saw a gap in this team and is looking for someone to implement strong Data Governance and Quality policies in the organisation. The company has built up a strong culture based on collaboration and hard work.

THE ROLE:

As a Data Governance Manager, you will work closely with various teams in the organisation to implement effective Data Management and Quality principles. The right candidate will be the first Data Governance person in the organisation and there is the possibility of building out a team in the long term. This role reports directly to the Head of Data and has a large amount of autonomy and impact.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal Data Governance Manager will have 4+ years of experience in this field, ideally working in a stand-alone environment. You will also need to be a very strong communicator as this role works with a lot of stakeholders.
