Data Governence Analyst - Support 12mth FTC

Role Data Governance Analyst aka - Data Governance support, Data Governance Coordinator, Data Governance Assistant, Information Governance
Location London - West End (4 days office / 1 Day home)
Salary - 40 - 45K
The role 
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive data governance policies.
Facilitate collaboration between various teams to ensure effective and compliant data management.
Participate actively in data quality assessments and initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality.
Support the integration of cutting-edge data governance tools and technologies.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the success of data governance activities.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal risk control measures.You
Prior experience in a support role within a data governance or similar environment.
A foundational understanding of data governance principles and a keen interest in further learning.
Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent analytical skills.
A meticulous approach to work, ensuring high accuracy in all tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Nice to have
A degree in a related field 
Familiarity with Commercial Banking Systems - e.g. T24 / Finacle / Flexcube etc SQL, and Power BI.
Knowledge of the regulatory landscape in the financial sector.
