Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a leading West Yorkshire employer who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as a Data Improvement Manager - initially on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.
Hybrid role – 1 day a week in Leeds – Looking for a January start
As Data Improvement Manager you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the data landscape and ensuring the integrity data records across various corporate systems.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Reconciliation Process by spearhead the data reconciliation process, aligning the various data Systems/sources for optimal accuracy
- Ensure Record Consistency of all relevant asset records
- Develop Data Cleanse Strategy: Create a comprehensive data cleanse strategy aligned with the broader business data governance strategy
- Oversee a team of data analysts, prioritizing tasks and rectifying data inaccuracies through structured work packages
- Work closely with business Subject Matter Experts and Technology teams to safeguard data integrity, ensuring current and future business processes are aligned and future-proofed
- Implement and uphold strict data governance processes to ensure compliance with GDPR and DPIA regulations.
- Develop and implement new processes to collect, validate, and transfer data into existing systems
We are keen to speak with Data professionals who possess the following skills & experience:
- Experience in leading Data Improvement projects
- Understanding of Data Management and Governance
- Experience using a Data Quality framework
- Ability to interpret and organize large amounts of data.
- Proficiency with wider databases and data management technologies – SQL, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, etc.
- Experience in developing and managing procedures, demonstrating compliance with processes
- Previous team leader experience balanced with analytical and creative abilities
- Experience supporting and embedding change, with the ability to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours
