The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £46,000 to £52,000 per annum, with standard working hours scheduled from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. This role is primarily remote, with occasional requirements for travel to the office located in Glasgow.

Responsibilities within your new role
The role of the Data & Information Analyst involves overseeing data management and ensuring the group's data outcomes meet best-practice standards. Responsibilities include developing robust business intelligence tools, advising on data controls, and analysing complex information from diverse sources to identify patterns and trends for business leads. Additionally, the role entails reviewing workflows across functions, staying updated on group strategy issues, and identifying opportunities to enhance services through training, sharing best practices, and fostering relationships across the organisation.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a range of key skills including expertise in SQL (T-SQL, PL-SQL), proficiency in data visualisation software like Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with analytical packages such as R, Python, Stata, or SAS. You should demonstrate a proven track record in developing and implementing data and analytical systems, along with excellent communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
