Data Operations Associate (Graduate / Junior)

To begin their Belfast journey, our client is seeking driven, motivated and analytical Data Operations Associates to join their growing team. This is an amazing opportunity for graduates or Junior Associates ready to take the next step in their career!

Please note - shortlisting for this opportunity will be completed week commencing March 18th 2024.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor, process and review financial news, data and information, extracting relevant information and data accurately and efficiently
• Work at a fast-pace to meet time-sensitive deadlines such as issuing client alerts
• Provide client support to queries, and complete onboarding of new accounts
• Work with a range of technologies including SQL, MS Excel, HTML and in-house platforms

Who you are:

• You'll have a strong attention to detail, processing written and numerical data accurately, efficiently and at a fast-pace
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
• You'll be a team player with strong communication skills
• You'll be switched-on and a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
• You'll be technically and numerically minded, working with technologies including SQL, Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and HTML
• Ideally you'll have a BSc degree in Finance, Business, Law, Economics (or similar/equivalent)
• Ideally, you will have a knowledge and an interest in the financial and capital markets
