A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading international law firm as a Data Privacy Analyst. In this broad and varied role, you’ll work to deliver the firm’s privacy framework with a focus on governance, risk and compliance aspects of privacy across the UK, US and EMEA offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing risk assessments and impact assessments
- Advising the business on privacy
- Working closely with fee-earners and stakeholders in risk, IT and HR
- Handling operational privacy issues and data incidents
- Supporting on internal audits
- Carrying out supplier due diligence and client information requests
- Assisting with DSARs
- Managing privacy education and awareness
- Building privacy into the firm’s data-handling processes
- Horizon scanning for developing risks and changing regulations
To apply for this role, you should have experience in privacy gained at a law or professional services firm and excellent knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements. A CIPP/E qualification would be beneficial. You will also need skills in analysis, relationship building and teamwork.
