Job description

Summary ***Internal Applications Only Please***
National Trust is one of the leading conservation charities in the UK and has ambitious plans for growth in fundraising, so that people, now and in the future, can benefit from nature and heritage. As our Data, Processing & Systems Product Manager, you’ll lead for the adoption, use and development of our Fundraising database products, ensuring we maximise all efficiency and growth opportunities available.
This is a permanent and full-time role.
We are currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2024.
What it's like to work here We’re bigger than you think, we’re more complicated than we appear and we’re larger scale than you’d imagine.
We’ve got passionate people in all our teams, and we’ve got so much more we want to achieve.
We’re for everyone, for ever and we really mean that.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing You’ll be part of the Fundraising Operations team and will have responsibility for the ongoing adoption, use and development of the core databases used across Fundraising.
You’ll advocate for best practice in terms of data input, quality and gift processing, always looking for opportunities to improve how we approach this.
You’ll work with core stakeholders across Fundraising and the wider organisation to identify areas for development of the database products, and help prioritise and deliver these.  Overall, you’ll ensure that our database system products underpin our core activities, and enable us to work in a data-driven and automated manner wherever possible.
Who we're looking for You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what is possible in this role.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
•Extensive knowledge of databases and data models, ideally in a fundraising context, and how these support and enable growth of activity •Demonstrable experience of project delivery, managing multiple demands and deadlines and prioritising objectives •Ability and confidence to act as an advocate for adoption of database products and excellent data management  •Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to readily engage with key stakeholders and influence groups to identify and deliver positive outcomes. •Knowledge of financial processes, in particular donation and income processing and reporting. •Understanding of data protection regulations, the fundraising code of practice and other relevant regulatory requirements such as gift aid regulations and the Charity Commission
