The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity for a
Data Protection professional for an expanding international tech business as they seek to recruit a
Data Protection Analyst. They operate a hybrid working model where you can work from home c. 2 days a week.
The RoleAs part of a small team, you will:
- Contribute to the provision of Data Protection training, awareness and communication, including staff mandatory training, specific training workshops, advice and guidance and communications to the business on a regular basis.
- Stay up–to–date with evolving Data Protection laws and regulations, and adapt policies and practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross–functional teams to ensure compliance with Data Protection regulations such as GDPR and other relevant standards.
- Assist the Data Protection Manager in the development and delivery of associated programmes, roadmaps and supporting projects.?
The RequirementsPassionate about
Data Protection, you will be knowledgeable in
Data Protection regulations, laws and requirements within preferably within a regulated industry. You will also have:
- Strong presentation and communication skills, possessing the ability to accurately identify key issues and communicate them broadly, including to senior leaders.
- Understanding and experience of digital advertising techniques, cookies and web tracking technologies.
Any qualifications in
Data Protection, such as the CIPP/e, CIPM and/or CIPT qualifications through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), would be beneficial though not essential.Most importantly you will be:
- A strong communicator comfortable collaborating with both technical and player focused colleagues.
- Confident in suggesting improvements.
- A self–starter and able to work in a fast–paced environment offering ideas and insights.
