Your new role
- Developing and implementing Data Protection policies and procedures across the organisation
- Providing advice and guidance on Data Protection issues and best practices
- Conducting Data Protection impact assessments and audits
- Managing data breach incidents and reporting to the relevant authorities
- Liaising with the Information Commissioner\'s Office and other external stakeholders
- Providing training and awareness on Data Protection to staff and management
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments and trends in Data Protection law and regulation
What you\'ll need to succeed
- A degree in law, information technology, or a related field
- A professional qualification in Data Protection, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or GDPR Practitioner
- At least 3 years of experience in a Data Protection or compliance role
- Excellent knowledge of the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other relevant legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
