We are seeking a driven and passionate professional to join our Client Services division as a Data Relationship Analyst. The Data Relationship Analyst will need to build a comprehensive understanding of the processes, databases, and platforms that underpin the Client and Reporting Data at SJP and pro-actively look for continuous improvement opportunities.
You will be responsible for establishing and driving initiatives to improve the quality, scope, lineage, and depth of data that is being reported to our clients and also figure out the source, structure and standard of Client data to be able to educate decision makers involved in migration, data quality and governance projects.

What you’ll be doing?
- Adhering to robust client data quality governance frameworks around our Data providers and Client centric data
- Maintaining the relationships with third-party data providers and the Chief Data Office to oversee their data feed delivery and implementing and embedding data quality improvements.
- Working with the Client Data team and stakeholders to build the Data Dictionary and become an expert in the data attributes
- Supporting regular client data cleansing and maintenance tasks to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Collaborating closely with the Data Management & Strategy team to specify and drive measurable improvements in client data quality metrics.
- Producing meaningful Management Information and visualisations for the Client Services management team to present progress made in Data Quality improvements, and aid with decision making by the Data Steward.
- Where vital, deal directly with incoming client and Partner queries on client reporting, collaborating closely with internal SJP teams, Administration Centres and third-party data providers as appropriate.
Who are we looking for?
- Good interpersonal skills to build influential relationships with key stakeholders around the business.
- Flexible, pro-active approach with a good work ethic and sense of personal responsibility.
- Excellent knowledge or a desire to learn of the roles of Client Services teams, critical SJP teams, the Administration Centres and third-party data providers.
- A creative problem solver with the ability to seek more efficient ways of problem solving.
- To be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple workstreams and priorities work as needed.
- Familiarity with the content of regular statements, partner and client digital systems and databases
- Competence in Excel and Microsoft Suite Applications
- Experience with PowerBi, SQL, and Aperture is advantageous.
