In their penultimate year of their undergraduate degree (graduating in 2025).
Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen, during the summer months (June to end of August)
Able to exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, an excellent work ethic, a curiosity to learn and basic familiarity with Microsoft applications

The role will be focused on developing a broad set of technical skills required to become an industrial data scientist.
The role sits within the Digital & Data team. The team keeps up a level of experimentation and room for creativity that is the perfect brewing place for a creative, curious individual to develop the technical skills to be a promising data scientist.
Digital & Data lies at the heart of our business transition and is becoming increasingly important to ensure we remain a competitive, attractive company.
The candidate will be working closely with the data scientists within a scrum framework.
Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:
Production-level Python programming for Data Science
Test driven development (TDD)
Developing machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised), with a specific focus on deep learning algorithms
Language foundation models

Our 12-week Summer Internships are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme's design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level. These include learning workshops, networking opportunities, training sessions and if operationally viable, a site visit.
During the programme you will have an 'intern supervisor' to keep you right. They will make sure that you are well looked after, understand your tasks, and encourage your learning and development. You will leave us having had a great experience, with an enhanced knowledge of the energy industry. Give your theoretical understanding a practical application - gain experience far beyond a textbook!
