Location: Hybrid working - East Grinstead, West Sussex
Data Protection Compliance Officer duties:
- Process data requests in line with GDPR
- Optimise in-house assessment processes and documentation, such as Data Security Checklists, Consent Checklists etc
- Assist with reviewing and relaunch data protection processes where necessary
- Monitor and assist with updating the Data Security communications and policy
- Contribute to the development of GDPR training materials, training tools etc
- Support the DPO in ensuring the importance of Data Security Compliance
Skills and experience:
- Candidates must have proven Data Protection / Data Security Compliance experience required, working in a similar role and have a strong knowledge and understanding the UK GDPR data protection law
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, meeting deadlines
- Extensive experience of fulfilling data subject requests
