The Opportunity...
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
EPR-E established in 2023, is responsible for delivering the design for a number of NI buildings, systems and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project through an integrated team, support to HPC construction and commissioning activities, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. Therefore, a Technical Directorate is being created, responsible for the engineering disciplines and technical expertise required to deliver the different engineering projects through integrated teams in EPR-E.
As a Data Technical Integration Manager, you will be reporting to the HPC Digital Transformation Manager. You will be working in collaboration with integrated teams to adapt and build standard processes while minimising changes to avoid disrupting study production.

What you’ll be doing…
- Understanding the process 2.0 “ensure system Technical Integration” and its subprocesses based on the definitions and objectives established by the RIT business purpose.
- Understanding what is expected for each consistent configuration state in terms of data and design maturity.
- Validating to documentation references, performed by the design quality plan by discipline and of the data in the tools.
- Associating the data with a milestone for transition to the 3DX PLM and validating the overall coherence of the data and documents that make up the milestone.
- Working with SoC1 management team to define what is missing. The disciplines concerned are system requirement, equipment procurement and commissioning.
- Working with tool representatives to facilitate the required updates and to ensure the proper use of the necessary standard tools is applied.
- Framing and specifying necessary updates of the tools (3DX PLM) and interfaces to implement the functionalities to support configuration management and consistency states. Validating the use-cases and contribute to the validation steps.
- Participating for commissioning to the framing meetings related to new commissioning features. Coordinating the framing and the implementation of the developments in the PLM between Technical Integration and Commissioning disciplines.
- Framing and specifying tools for supplier feedback data collection required for commissioning purpose and contributing to the validation steps
- Validating, with technical directorate, the updated engineering rules on HPC and on the other projects.
- Overseeing of the deployment and implementation of these processes on the projects according to industrial milestones.
Who you are…
Your background may include some of the following:
- 10 years’ experience in nuclear power plant design.
- Experience in equipment specification or commissioning.
- Able to communicate in English and French.
