The Role
We have a new role with a new client we have worked with for a long time. We can safely say it is a great place to work with lots of expansive projects and exciting opportunities for growth and learning new skills.
They are looking for an experienced Datawarehouse Developer to join their team. They are a Microsoft BI Stack organisation, Azure hosted and use PowerBI / Dax for reporting and Data Modelling. The BI team is separated into two specialties, this role falls within development of the Data Warehouse alongside migrations and data system management. The other team is more responsible for day-to-day reporting.

What are we looking for:
In a nutshell we are looking for a strong, technical BI Developer, with Data Warehouse experience and a back-end focus.
Bonus - Training can be provided on these but helpful if you have them.
- Azure (Data Factory / Databricks / Data Lakes / Synapse)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-dimensional models, incorporating diverse Data Views, Dimensions, and Cubes.
- Drive the creation and integration of innovative Data Models to secure our data structuring endeavours.
- Enhance databases through incremental improvements and streamline data processing procedures.
- Finalize the setup of the Data Warehouse while assisting in ensuring the data transition is seamless.
- Establish technical standards and designs for efficient MI delivery in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Perform thorough code reviews for developers engaged in MI projects
- Create advanced reporting solutions, this can include Static Reports, Reporting Cubes, and BI Dashboards.
- Establish consistent reporting structures by standardizing key metric calculations.
- Continuously develop initiatives to enhance our Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Spearhead end-to-end projects for reporting, ensuring alignment with dynamic business requirements.
- Create robust and scalable data pipelines, optimizing our processes for data movement.
