Location: Birmingham, hybrid (2 days a week)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Job Description

A fast growing software house in Birmingham are looking to bring on a Data Warehouse Engineer where you will be working on a highly exciting greenfield project. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Systems, where you will be involved with supercharging their technology plans over the next couple of years. The role will be working with a growing technology business that provides support to multiple people around the world. This role would suit somebody who wants to take the next step in their career and have a mix of management responsibilities as well as being in hands on in providing data transformation. The next couple of years are highly exciting where you will be involved with skyrocketing there plans to enable the business to take the next step in their data journey.

You will be involved with this partner as a key hands on Data Warehouse Engineer where you will be designing, developing and optimising data pipelines. You will have key experience in programming in SQL and Python. The role will include identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimising data delivery, and automating manual processes. They are looking for someone to plan, design and implement Data Warehouse and system integration projects. This partner is passionate about high quality data development, where you will be central with working with the newest technology and develop new ways of working.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Data Warehouse Engineer will have the following skills

• SQL
• Python
• Power BI
• Understanding of Data Warehouse Design
• Redshift
• Snowflake
