SUMMARY:
We are working on behalf of our prestigious client based in Truro the ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge and recent experience in designing, building and maintaining secure database systems such as data warehousing - alongside other SQL-related functions such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Service Broker.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for someone to work with our client's IT team, maintaining the database infrastructure and the quality and consistency of our data.
Ideally, this role will be based in the head office in Truro, however, remote or hybrid working options may be considered, with regular travel to Truro expected.
Working with departments across the business, you will deliver our data strategy, ensuring the best possible service for our clients
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Developing and maintaining MS SQL Server environments
- Knowledge of stored procedures, their development and maintenance
- Developing and maintaining SSIS packages and SSRS reports
- Use of Service Broker and Triggers
- Understanding and experience of industry-standard techniques, platforms and practices
- Database analysis, design and development skills
- Experience of developing with either C# or PHP (desirable)
- Experience of working on Linux and Windows server environments (desirable)
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud environments (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Assisting in the identification of business issues, seeking appropriate solutions
