Role Summary:

The Data Centre Manager (DCM) is a senior position overseeing comprehensive Data Centre (DC) operations, managing teams, ensuring compliance, and fostering client relationships. The role involves people management, budget adherence, and promoting health and safety. The DCM collaborates with Sales and Product Management for business development and leads client tours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold organizational values, drive service excellence, and support team development.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and security procedures.
• Coordinate team resources, plan coverage for 24x7 operations, and manage budgets.
• Oversee maintenance procedures, service contracts, and planned preventive maintenance.
• Drive energy efficiency and best practices within DC Halls.
• Follow and improve service management processes for incidents, changes, and problems.
• Host client tours and prioritize client needs in planning and scheduling work.
• Collaborate with Project Management to meet client requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date Risk Register and documentation across the site.
• Optimize site capacity and conduct weekly inspections.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adapt responsibilities as required by Line Manager or Director.
• Handle confidential information professionally.

Special Conditions:

• Out-of-hours working and participation in an On-Call Rota.
• Some travel between sites may be required.
