Joining our supportive and friendly team, as a Day Opportunities Support Worker you'll support people in a person-centred way, meaning that you'll focus on the requirements of individuals, ensuring that their preferences, needs and values are respected. Our service users have a variety of needs, abilities and interests and we need people who will celebrate diversity and promote inclusion while offering fun and fulfilling days. In this role, no two days are the same, you may be swimming, bowling, going to the cinema or even the pub or sharing a personal hobby or interest with our service users in our well-resourced buildings.
You may already have relevant experience, but most importantly you'll be committed to enabling people to enjoy full and active lives. You'll be a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and have basic IT and recording skills. We're looking for people with energy, enthusiasm, creativity and a "can do" approach. You may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and therefore need to have the ability to travel, as necessary.
