Job Title: DB, Application and Systems Analysts
Hours: Full - Time
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000
Location: London, SE1 (and mobile)
Start Date: ASAP
Benefits: Competitive Salary, 29 days Annual (pro rata for part time), 4% - 6% pension contribution and more.
Join our client's IT Team in a senior capacity as a DB, Application, and Systems Analyst, playing a crucial role in managing, supporting, and enhancing critical applications, Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment, and databases. Your day-to-day involves ensuring the security, resilience, and high availability of all applications and databases. With advanced IT qualifications and expertise in the MS stack, including Office365, SharePoint, and Azure SQL, you'll actively monitor and manage priority applications, contribute to comprehensive data analysis, and support dynamic reporting systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate experience in maintaining applications and corporate databases, ensuring their integrity, security, and fitness for purpose through patches, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Actively monitor and manage priority applications and database systems, ensuring effective performance, availability, response times, and capacity to meet demands.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Contribute to comprehensive and trustworthy data and statistical analysis by capturing, analyzing, and organizing business data.
  • Ensure the implementation of backups and verification as part of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning (DR/BCP), supporting major incident responses requiring application restoration.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Clean and prepare data for external reporting requirements using existing auditing reports and tools.
  • Determine data access requirements, transaction rates, and volume analysis for the development and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics environments, workflows, integrated databases, and reporting systems.
  • Create and support interfaces between IT systems and other corporate systems.


Requirements:

  • Hold an advanced qualification in IT or a related discipline.
  • Utilize a recognized service delivery approach, such as ITIL.
  • Possess specialist knowledge/experience of the MS stack, including Office365, SharePoint, Azure SQL, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, MS SQL SSRS (Reporting services), API/Webservices for system integration, and programming languages like T-SQL and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with PowerApps or Power Automate and knowledge of SDS Proval/Sequel, SUN, Keystone Asset Management.
  • Experience working in multidiscipline teams for comprehensive service delivery and support, with the ability to analyze problems, formulate conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM development, configuration, and administration.
  • Demonstrable experience in change and transformation environments to ensure relevant and cost-effective systems and services.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret service activity data.
  • Capable of writing and maintaining concise reports and proposals, aligning with established team and organization standards, to support ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of data.
