Join us as our new Deck Foreman
We are currently looking for 4 Deck Forman to join DOF. As the Deck Foreman you have the overall responsibility for the safe and efficient performance of all deck activities with particularly regard to rigging and crane operations. This includes a knowledge of and compliance with the relevant lifting regulations applicable to the region of operations and DOF Subsea Offshore requirements. The role includes supervision of the deck team, riggers, as well as third parties carrying out work on the vessel's deck. In this role you will also ensure that internal and external Quality, Safety, Health and Environment requirements are implemented during the work as well as the policy is brought to the attention of all personnel under your control and that work is carried out in accordance with its requirements.
Requirements
  • Formal technical and/or administrative education (experience can compensate for lack of formal competency)
  • Experience as a Rigger offshore, preferably on an MSV or similar
  • Hold an approved Rigger training certificate (OPITO Level 3/4 standard), including Banksman training and LOLER Awareness
  • Valid offshore survival course and offshore medical for geographic area of work
  • Be able to express themselves in English both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate competence as per IMCA C 002
