The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer to join a pioneering organisation within the Nuclear industry. The Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer / Graduate Engineer will use knowledge from a recent relevant degree such as Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, and/or potentially experience from a previous internship, to seamlessly integrate into the Decommissioning team, ensuring the safety and security of the environment and civilians alike.

The Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer / Graduate Engineer will be a bright and passionate individual looking to sky-rocket their career in a new and exciting industry. As the successful Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer you will need to be eligible for SC Clearance. 

 

The Company

The Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer will join a leading organisation in the Nuclear industry, headquartered in Oxfordshire. The Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer will contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The successful Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer will be based-in Oxford 2 days per week, but travel to other sites may be required on an adhoc basis.

What’s required of the Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer

 

  • A relevant engineering degree such as mechanical engineering or chemical engineering

  • Current SC Clearance or the ability to obtain SC Clearance for this role 

  • Prior experience / knowledge within the Nuclear sector is highly desirable
