Job Description

Decontamination Technician

The role

The safety of our patients and our people is paramount to us at Ramsay Health Care UK. That's why our work in the Decontamination Unit is so vital. It's here that we sterilise all the instruments and equipment needed to deliver a wide variety of surgical procedures and treatments across the hospital. Join us, and you'll help bring peace of mind to our patients, their families, and our hard-working teams, as you deliver for your customers across a complex and changing caseload that's full of variety.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, including our consultants, you'll make sure our teams have the equipment they need when they need it, and our patients have a positive experience. In everything you do, you'll actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.

What you'll bring with you

If you have experience in this field that's going to be beneficial - but it's not essential. If you're eager to learn, we can support you through our Ramsay Academy to gain the skills and qualifications you need to join - and then develop - in the department. If you are flexible and versatile, with a real can-do attitude, you'll be perfect for this fast-paced, patient-centered role.
