Our client is an award winning international law firm based in Belfast but who growing at a phenomenal rate within their Defence Litigation practice. Owing to its reputation and network as an international office, they provide solid work streams and access to brand name clients.
In this company you will be offered the opportunity to join an acclaimed defence insurance litigation team as either a solicitor or an associate solicitor. The role is also open to solicitors coming from a plaintiff only background who are perhaps looking to break into the commercial field for the first time. Those candidates would need to have a good understanding and foundation in personal injury matters including RTA’s EL/PL claims and any disease or occupational health claims would be a benefit also.
What you can bring?
Your experience level will dictate your position however it is anticipated that you will have a solid grounding in defence insurance work including personal injury matters, RTA’s, credit hire claims, professional negligence and/or contested policy issues.
Given the nature of their work streams, client demographics and jurisdictional coverage, dual qualified (NI & EW) or ROI solicitors with defence experience are highly sought after for the role. However one jurisdictional qualification is sufficient.
