SalaryIn this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure all security tools are optimally configured and functional, including intrusion detection systems, email protection, antivirus, firewalls, and SIEM solutions.
- Execute and oversee security solutions and policies such as firewalls, email/web security, endpoint security, and cloud security, actively monitoring, tracking, and remedying incidents, while improving setups.
- Keep security tools updated with the latest patches to mitigate vulnerabilities, regularly evaluating their effectiveness, proposing adjustments, and suggesting enhancements for overall security improvement.
- Monitor security tool outputs and alerts, identifying security events, false positives, and suspicious activities.
- Provide technical support for security investigations, contributing to the analysis and containment of security incidents.
Essential:
- Relevant degree e.g. Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology etc.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, deploying, and overseeing security measures and protocols within complex environments.
- Extensive understanding of networking protocols, security technologies, and leading industry standards..
