Join a business publishing and events business as a Delegate Acquisition Executive.

The Delegate Acquisition Executive role

• Drive delegate attendance to the events (summits, awards, and webinars).
• Create and deliver effective strategies to achieve delegate attendance targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, especially content and marketing to help drive attendance
• Research, identify and engage potential attendees, understand their needs, and sell the event value proposition.
• Develop a deep understanding of the event topics to ensure you can present the benefits of attending the conferences, share the value proposition, key highlights, and networking opportunities at events to potential attendees and answer any questions raised.
• Meet agreed targets.
• Network with attendees onsite at events.
• Track, analyse and report on your progress, spotting areas for improvement.

Your background and experience

• Ideally educated to Degree level
• Similar experience gained in the B2B events industry or finance & banking based work experience such as recruitment or sales considered.
• A genuine interest in developing a career in Delegate Acquisition within an information and events business.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to liaise with global C-suite business professionals.
• Have a confident, consultative, strategic and solutions orientated approach
• Have strong negotiation, persuasion and closing skills
• Confident with IT and able to use CRM systems and sales tools.
