SalaryJob Title: Delivery Driver
Duration: Until further notice, starting from 2nd April
Location: Walthamstow, London
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Hours: 07:00-17:00 (may be earlier dependent on completion of deliveries)
Hourly Rate: £11.68
Responsibilities:
- Deliver materials for Housing Association on designated days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to various locations in West London and East London.
- Collect materials from other branches and different suppliers as required.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to specified locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Follow all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate delivery schedules and any changes.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver preferred.
- Familiarity with London roads and routes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Note: This position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of material deliveries for Housing Association. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the supply chain and supporting construction projects.
